How the calorie calculators fit together
Three of the tools build on one another. Your BMR is the energy your body uses at rest. Multiply it by an activity factor and you have your TDEE, the calories you burn in a whole day, which is also your maintenance level. Add or subtract calories for a goal and you have your daily calorie target.
The calories burned calculator works on a single workout, and the protein, water and BMI calculators cover other targets. They all use the same weight and height, and your choice of metric or imperial units is remembered between pages.
